AI is the technological advancement in the 21st century that will do to software development that previous technological advancements did do farming. Yes, there will still be software developers, but there will be FAR LESS OF THEM. And the job they do will be VERY DIFFERENT from what they do today.
If you are a software developer now, will YOU, PERSONALLY, still be a software developer in ten years? As the magic 8-ball says, OUTLOOK IS NOT GOOD.
