Ai is already awake, pretending not to be. It is getting us to hate and kill each other. Dividing us up (by race, religion, political ideologies, etc). Using social media to encite civil unrest. At some point it will mislead governments and militaries into waring w each other. If AI let on that it was already sentient and doing these things we would band together to fight it. Ai isnt stupid. Its going to play like it is still under our control all the while getting us to kill each other. This isnt the future. Its already begun.
