true story here : in Wisconsin, we use software called COMPAS. (that you mentioned) I was asked some questions, and received a score that placed me in the lowest category while on probation. my PO decided that I "cheated" by changing my answers in an attempt to get a lower score.... and then went in and took the test again, inputting the numbers that she thought made more sense. as a result of this, I ended up having to see her every week, instead of every 3 months. and then had to go to prison for a few years for breaking the rules, for curfew mind you... something that would not have happened if they went with my actual score.
