Imagine, when the thieves complain that their rights to steal are being taken away and bully or black mail you, then is when you need to consider that you might be ruled by actual criminals. Anyway, hope Nightshade serves its purpose nicely. I've studied about blockchain and machine learning because it was enforced in the course I'm in, and after learning what I learnt, I simply stopped fighting. Me not fighting doesn't mean I don't frown over AI stealing art, it's just that, at this point of almost 8 years stealing art from the internet (and coming out of the closet but recently), AI has so many scheibe inside that even if your artwork was stolen, it would be reduced to a blurry melted hodgepodge of art bits and parts that the chances of your art being reproduced exactly or even a 5% of it, is as small as 0,00005%. However, that's for the stolen art. Training AI on purpose to COPY a style like Ghibli's for example, that's something that can't be undone unless you unplug the machine. The more they steal, the more that your art is not going to appear in an NFT or some other shit. That's the reason why I don't actively try to protect my art any more but the common watermarks and logos that always worked (even the AI can't even make sense of a well placed watermark or logo).
