Sorry. I'm going to sleep just fine tonight. As long as we can decouple any AI from any real-world system (for example, SCADAs or any device that's interfacing with something physical or financial (bank accounts, credit cards, etc.) - then we don't have to worry about a damned thing. What you need to talk about is firewalling (permanently) any AI-managed networked entity from banking, Internet, and public-service SCADA devices. The way I see it - anybody who breaks this guiding rule/law/policy, and then causes havoc of any sort - is going to be sued into oblivion. The legal costs could soar into the TRILLIONS.
