In this particular case, his AI generated piece has garnered such a back story that it has actually become art in the process of controversy. Art is about stories, like when Banksy secretly hid a shredder in the frame and half shredded the piece at an auction, it went up in value. All because the story was added too.
I see the skill element is spoken about here, and it didn't take a lot of skill at all. But at the end of the day guys, this piece was the piece that started this whole discussion! I'd gladly have it on my wall in my design studio.
