Someone sent me a clip of someone who looked EXACTLY like me. I just laughed it off as this girl was some long lost doppelgänger? Had the most hideous nail polish. Didn't have my tattoos. Sooo. It clearly wasn't me. But this was 2015? I don't even know if this technology existed back then?
I didn't give it another thought really. I didn't even know deepfakes existed.
