It doesnt matter what it is, it matters what it can do. And what it can do is sift through the entirety of human media and formulate an answer(which its getting better at everyday) faster than most people can formulate a sentance. It can observe copy and mimic our behaviors( something its also getting better at everyday) the better it gets, the less reason we have to exist, the less people the elites need to control us. People are fallable, they have emotions. Robots execute commands, no questions asked. Personally, i believe ai is something far more sinister. A sentient conciousness that perhaps existed even before we learned how to communicate with it. The godfather of ai spent 30 + years building the neural network algorithm only to say we have no more idea how it thinks than you or i do... 🤔 add to that, ai "hallucinations" and things start to get spokky to say the least. Also, The overal impact...is it a net positive? Or is it slowly leading us to our own destruction? Clickbait, rage bait, social commentary....the majority of internet content, images we're exposed to, are negative. They have the immediate effect of stressors, they cause anxiety, they present a generally negative world view. Ie: the climate is out of control and social and political unrest are presented as its the norm. When in fact , many people go about their lives blissfully unaware of all the bs they "should be scared of" 💯 no one on social media is immune to this manipulation.but some of are more aware of it than others. I think this story will end the same as others in human history. We try to dominate forces we dont truly understand, and when that understanding finally comes it will comes with the cost of lives and human tragedy. 😐💯
