It seems to me that, if these AI systems are to be relevant in the real world, their abilities have to be totally authentic in every respect, which is a break from humans, who are demonstrably not authentic in every respect. Human behaviour is guided by a greater or lesser degree by instinct and emotion, a two-edged sword, insofar as humans inherently understand the real world in terms of gravity and the vanishing point. Not too good when influenced by greed and fear. Thankfully, AI is not influenced by the limbic system and hopefully protected from the negative aspects of that system, inherent in humans from our evolutionary past.
