Before Elon came out of the closet as an idiot, he would talk about UBI non stop. As leftists, we talked about whether or not these AI bros were secretly socialist agents who were using capitalism to develop its demise.
There’s no way you develop this kind of tech unless your goal is to destroy capitalism. The loss of jobs to AI gives us a high chance of electing a socialist who will seize and nationalize automated industry purely out of the desire to survive for most people. Cementing UBI, and freeing up humanity.
