I think creativity is driven by intelligence but intelligence alone is not the full picture. However it seems to me people have it wrong intelligence in combination with creativity is the wild card that drives humanities survival. We do not value human creativity with the awe it deserves. The ingenuity and creativity to survive is found in our ability to see patterns and create connection and meaning from those patterns. Imagination can create subtle realities within realities, its these subtleties that are now creating a reality in which we don't truly value our humanity. But its humans who created AI and we will pass on our own faults to AI and AI hasn't been given aspects of us that are important to control our impulses and urges.
