There are many things that could end a robot takeover. First of all the pgramming for the device is from a computer programmer who doesn't actually know anything about the human psyche and the human psyche is far superior to anything he or she could consider in his programming. He or she actually doesn't have a clue about how humans funcrtion but he humorously believes he or she knows all they need. They are ignorant of the psychological functions of the individua human.
