Totally agree with your points here BUT I have one thought that may be a saving grace for human artists. All of these flashy viral tech gimmicks like AI Art Apps are just that: flashy viral tech gimmicks. Tech enthusiasts nerd out for "the future" but for the average normie consumer, these AI art apps are nothing more than a cool new social media profile pic that gets old after a week. Could more commercial clients who would actually hire an artist of some kind use AI instead? Sure. But they'll never quite get exactly what they're wanting, and the potential legal headaches down the road make just paying a human to do the work cheaper and more efficient overall.
On a seperate note, people seem to not realize how much artwork they come into contact with on a daily basis. Every piece of product packaging. Every commercial or highway billboard. Every website. Art and Design are in every corner of our lives at any given moment and none of it was magically manifested from the void.
