This is the perfect example for people who genuinely believe that AI is somehow beneficial to the Art community (and I mean every art you can think of, music, drawing, writing, music, etc.) Sure you can use it for inspiration, but taking 1 minute to type out (even if it's detailed) a description of what you want to create, having AI generate it for you and call it your own is not only wrong but you're probably stealing from ACTUAL creators who put time and effort, and most importantly themselves into the work YOU are now claiming to be your own The idea that this is okay, especially as in artist in MANY ways, just baffles me One of my parents actually work on AI for their job, and they talk about how awesome it is that it can create stuff and blah blah blah, but as they lack the understanding of an artist or a more creative person, they fail to realize that what is being put into AI algorithms is usually ALWAYS sourced from people who really took their time in making something they, and other people can love and sure, there are now laws, and procedures to try and avoid that, but they're working on trying to make AI LEARN ON ITS OWN WITHOUT HIMAN INPUT So many communities are going to suffer just because a shit ton of rich corporations want to create easier, cheaper ways to make more money and it's actually working Not to mention the effects it has on the environment. I could go more into detail as to why AI is just bad in general but that would lead away from the purpose of my comment AI generated art, in any medium at all is not your art. Sure it was your idea but it was not you who created the image, or the story, or the lyrics, it was AI. Stop defending an argument you already lost
