This documentary doesn’t reveal the fact that across the US regulations set for truck tag increases, other fees, monitoring and gas prices and the outlawed older trucks after a certain year, all took away the profits for the companies/drivers. Drivers wages decreased because of the regulations and cost and created the scarcity of drivers. Which begs the question, was this a preemption deliberate actions to use the narrative, now, for AI drivers positioning that there are and were not enough drivers?
