How will blue collar jobs survive if there are no white collar jobs? Who's house do you think plumbers and roofers are working on? What offices are they building? etc. etc. etc. I think AI has way more potential to take hard skilled jobs like mathematics rather than soft skilled based work. An AI will have a really hard time replacing me because I have to work with several people and take all their interests into account when making a decision that I have to solicit from them, but the person who makes my dashboards and crunches numbers I think AI could really easily replace.
