Why not have humans pretending to be AI? The Chinese did it with their first interactive AI set up. They had an AI generated image on a screen, but a person on a microphone in a room somewhere, pretending to be AI answering questions, and interacting with the people. And then there were the human robots. Human women that were in robot "costumes" that were pretending to be robots (or, Roberts as they say) and the spokespeople were even confirming and misleading people watching, saying they were robots. In fact, almost all of the Chinese tech is fake. Lol.
