It's really not AI affecting physical jobs that is the biggest threat, it's how AI slop is affecting people's mentality. First you have to recognize that AI slop is possible then you have to recognize the signs of AI slop. It is hard to recognize these two things when this process has already been working in the background for years in real life. Lies and less-than-truths being told and dispersed entertainingly across a large section of people. Study the United States Republican party for an example. The lies have been told so far and wide that lies are used to substantiate more lies. It turns out people are using AI the same way Rupert Murdoch used print and broadcast. Check out Kurzgezat video about AI destroying their channel, and when you hear how it has been happening, you realize it was happening before AI.
