mini rant sorry: I still don't know why people put in the effort to use ai images- to me it's more time-consuming and annoying. several prompts just for the RIGHT picture? That's awful especially if you're bad with knowing how to phrase keywords. And even then describing something is harder than visualizing it. Everybody can come up with different ideas based on one description that are all unique. An AI will technically have an interpretation but it's predefined and also takes things too literally or misunderstands something. Usually for programmers, writing the script wrong is always their fault, not the program's, so in that sense, a description can be defined as wrong for generative AI if there's a problem. IS THAT NOT WEIRD???? And honestly- do people who use AI have dreams at all? Like sleep-wise- can they visualize things? if they imagined an apple could they see it? Or do they not consider grabbing random images and mashing them together on a google slides or photoshop to represent an idea? working with people is just WAAY more easy and less expensive I'm so confused ;-; Even if they can't draw there's so many helpful tools for creation like maybe gacha life (you can make characters without drawing), literal color palette generators (in case you want a specific coloring or something), and so on- even if I don't mention every single thing I know. And also generating music and narrating voices are not really helpful either- if you wanted to make something that's good that people would listen to even if you were doing it for profit- why not focus on quality? consumers aren't dumb- also generated music sounds so generic anyway. Why not use a vocaloid synth? Or if they don't have knowledge with how to make music, why not just figure out how to? And I know trying to find a specific song that feels right for a feeling is hard enough but describing it is why it is hard instead of visualizing it. silly analogy tho: If someone knew how to grow wheat, would it not sell more if they learned to make bread instead of selling it alone? Ignoring that maybe in some cases ingredients sell more than the product, I think that makes sense ;-;
