As a Republican we don't always agree but this was a very interesting conversation that I feel like we both can agree on a few things with. I love that you didn't just say let's put laws in place that will ban research in robotics and AI because that is just a very unrealistic proposal. If Elon and Jeff don't do it then someone else will and I promise that China and Russia won't gimp themselves in the same way which will hurt America's power. This technology will change the world as we know it and we need to brainstorm solutions that will help our society survive and even benefit from this new developing technology. I hope others with real influence like you will put their hats in this ring so we can all have a discussion on our next steps forward as a society because this needs to be figured out soon. I work in IT and I see AI inviting my space as well and we are working to adapt the technology in our line of work as well because if we don't the hackers will use these tools against us. Keep up the good work bringing the important conversations to the table even if I don't agree I still want to hear your input.
