every dude who does something is absolutely convinced that it is exactly THEIR specific interest that will influence the world most. AI developer think its AI, crypto developers dont even consider AI as any problem, they are talking about how crypto is the sole thing, then you get logistics people, who are 100% sure no AI will sail and ride railways and that it is the most improtant etc etc etc.
AI will be same shit as internet - exciting, then it will become lame and then annoying.
Then it will be replaced by sometihing else.
what AI has "achieved" is simply bringing the already known and viable things to more ground level. Now a bum can somehow create a code for example, but he could do it 30 years ago too. He only needed a medium - language.
Otherwise AI does not bring much new.
Advanced robots are BY FAR more important than AI, as it is a physical medium. robots can act without AI, but AI could allow people talk to robots without special education.
long story short, I think nothing will change much, its just new gizmos. World will stil be as pollluted, angry and lame low income for most people as it already is.
