I think in certain situations ai art can be used as a tool but i think that is incredibly rare, personally i just use it to mess around or create images for my dnd world if i cant find a good reference picture, tho if i ever wanted to release anything for sale i would have all the ai images replaced with actual art, i just dont have enough time or money on my hands at the moment but i wouldnt sell people something with ai art except maybe a book showing the development of the art for the project and in that situation it would be clearly labled as ai so as not to misslead people
