Tech bros at it again. They don’t seem to realise that 1, we don’t need every, bloody thing in our lives to be automated or overly ‘techy’. And 2, that there are some people in the world who don’t have the privilege of a middle class (or more) upbringing and a degree from MIT, and that they are only capable of doing low-skilled jobs to feed their families. Taxi drivers, truck drivers, staff at fast food outlets. These are invaluable roles at the very bottom of the wealth pyramid. Tech bros just live in their little Silicon Valley bubble and have no understanding of what the real world is like.
