I think the biggest danger to the public is believing they have control of their own actions. Deepak Chopra once asked the question. "Of every thought that comes into your mind daily, who's the thinker of the thoughts?"
Also, I have had a lot of incidents that happened on my computer that were unexplainable. I've had web pages that disappeared when I tried to save them and reappear two days later.
I believe that the "Ouija board" effect is real. Now apply this to AI. How can you tell the difference between what the computer program is doing and some Alien is doing?
