I predict that eventually, everyone will have an AI interface chip in their brain. This will probably be done in-utero so the brain can grow interface neurons as the fetus develops. Anyone who doesn't have the chip, will be shunned for not being in the net, will be seen as totally inferior to "chipped" persons, and capable of performing only menial tasks. Societal pressures and practicality will ensure that eventually everyone is "chipped", part of AI, and AI is part of everyone. Sounds like a good movie - I would call it The Matrix.
