The idea that AI will somehow be used to make everyone's lives easier, and people will have their needs provided for after they lose their jobs is an absolute farce. Complete nonsense and fantasy. The reality is that people who lose their jobs will live in poverty, die early because they won't have money to take care of themselves, and this is what the ultra-rich want. They're tired of having to 'take care of us poor people', and they would love to have artificial intelligence do everything for them, while they live their best life.
They may keep a small population of us alive as a breeding pool, but that's about it.
