Hello! I am a disabled teen and artist. I make a lot of art both digital and with traditional media. I use a free computer program on my 7 year old iPad that works amazing. I do a lot of art in the margins of my notes or in school issued notebooks. I have autism & NVLD. Pepole with NVLD often struggle with art for a number of reasons like low spatial awareness, being directional challenged and fine motor control. My disability makes the majority of ai art generators completely inescapable. From the lack of instructions complexated interfaces and long wait times. I have only ever used purposely bad ai generators to prove how bad ai art is. My firend, Samuel has retinitis pigmentosa (RP) and uses a white cane to get around. He makes amazing artwork and also hates ai. My mothers  partner, has ADHD and severe epilepsy, he taught me water colors and sells his art locally and online. My firend Kaira has a number of medical conditions that affect her joints, she doesn’t draw much but she is very creative and did an amazing drawing of her dnd character. My autism also makes looking at ai art horrible it’s bright, overstimulating with nonsensical anatomy and shapes. Disabled artist are real. We are hear. We make amazing high quality art. We are writers, poets, colorists, cartoonists and more. To say ai art is accessible to to put words in our mouths, and say our art won’t ever be good. We are here, we come from all walks of life, religions levels of physical ability. A lot of us are not rich and ai is bullcrap that costs a small fortune. But we still talented individuals whom ai steals from. Ai art is not art. We are artists. Ai is theft.
