I wouldn't really call what the AI makes "art" more like an amalgamation, where they've spliced one or more actual art pieces together, usually making it worse, it's only ever going to be good for being a tool, seeing as it can not truly come up with something entirely new on it's own, it's limited by it's lack of understanding of the artist's eye.
I do not think anyone should profit off of it.
