Interesting guy although his reductionism of how "simply" humans communicate (in person) speaks volumes. There is so much subconscious stuff going on. AI can't do that (yet). We need to redefine intelligence. It is not just about words as bits. I am excited by AI and also daunted, but chatgpt is still highly flawed in some respects despite the great achievements and is designed partly to keep you hooked like "finally" / "you are so close" etc when giving you code solutions. you have to really force it to think outside the box and be very very objective about possible time-wasting with it.
