My belief is that the 1%—the elite, the reptilian overlords—will sacrifice the rest of us without a second thought once AI is fully developed. As soon as they can manufacture robots to act as physical bodies for that AI, they'll wipe us out, and they'll use the AI to make it happen ... we are the last humans.
