I don't think tyson knows what exponential means. You can't show 2 data points and say "see how fast it changed" to show exponentiality. You need a 3rd data point to show how much "the speed of change" changed.
Also he thinks AI's biggest threat is unemployment when in fact agi on par with a human is an existential threat because of its exponentiality.
