Don't they do mock courts for students studying to be a lawyer? Why not set up a mock court using a real previous case as template and see how that "Lawyer AI" fares? No need to ask real lawyers to endanger their careers in a real supreme court case and they can do this a few hundred times with a certified lawyer they could hire to train their AI to maaaaaybe in a few decades be semi-competent.
