It's sad that I listened to so much of this before he said "I can make as much gold as you want" -- but somehow bitcoin is finite... because somebody said so? Hmmm... put into that perspective, it's hard to take him seriously. As for AI, and in turn AI safety, let's wait for AGI first (as opposed to LLMs)... everything else is merely a thought experiment, no different than what we might do if aliens landed tomorrow - no matter what we plan or think we know, it will go down differently.
