I would be interested in seeing if you really would take that long to build that app
remember its a shitty version of what you would have built, I think this means you have standards that are to high ... not saying lower your standards ... but
If you used tutorial app as your kick off point instead of creating one from scratch, ctrl+c and ctrl+v your head off, then duck tape and bubble gummed that frankenstine of "barrowed" code ... your basically doing what AI is doing, but your able to apply your experience before hand instead of having to waste time reviewing the slop and guide it to do the same.
I see this with code jam projects, they are created quick fast and dirty, they meet the requirement (mostly) wont hold up to a stiff breeze but ... they do get you 80% of the way there and frankly that is as you noted ... good enough for a lot of use cases so is AI really faster? or is AI just lowering the bar of acceptable?
