Please let me add my 2-cents here.
An unemployed working class means the end of Capitalism. With no buying power what will sell? What money will circulate? All of a sudden the rich money accounts of billionaires will be worth nothing.
That is when Al will take over . There will be no termination as foreseen in sci-fi. We will be a lesser species outrun by a sentient Al, we will be preserved, just like we preserve gorillas in the African jungles.
We will become Al's pets, fed by drones over the windows.
Good news is that there will be no more human interference in climate change.
Streets will become plantations run by drones. We will all become vegetarian. Food will be the prize for physical exercise, which will keep humans healthy.
There will be no more private vehicles.
There will be no exodus to Mars. Instead, the greatest minds and talents will be cloned in Mars, which will eventually be terraformed.
In sum, artificial intelligence will take over the genuine stupidity of the human species.
Good news also is that there will be no more Trumps, or Bushes!
