The gap between where I am and where I want to be is massive, and realizing it could take years just to be decent killed my motivation. At some point it stops feeling inspiring and starts feeling pointless, and that’s why I keep thinking about switching to AI art instead—because at least there I don’t feel like I’m failing every time I try.
