The good thing about AI is that it lets you have an image or model of an idea you have without needing to be an artist or hiring one. So now conceptualising an idea is much more feasible for people who don't know how to draw which is amazing!
I'm a programmer and now with AI pretty much anyone can build a application, but only people who really know how to code can make a fully working application and essentially use AI as a tool.
If you don't want your art style to be copied it's pretty fucking awesome poisoning images.
