I remember some years ago there was this controversy over paintings to be claimed as Rembrandt- incorrectly (eg actually his students work). Why did people care- were the paintings no good? No, but people wanted to know if it was an original Rembrandt. Can AI overcome our emotional responses to certain works. Also comedy can often be about seeing our flaws as humans, sharing with other humans and forging connections. It doesn’t sound like AI will have any flaws. I wonder how much AI can actually match the essence of what it is to be human?
