Yes, AI will take your job. AI will take EVERYONE'S jobs. It won't be GOOD at any of those jobs, and once we all die off there won't be anybody left capable of maintaining the tech required to implement their wishful-thinking-utopia-for-only-the-uber-wealthy. The current gubmint is making vaccines harder to get as well as lying about efficacy and safety to make even MORE people afraid of vaccines. If you think that is being done for any reason other than reducing the surplus population, you've got your head in the sand - assuming you're keeping your sand in a very dark place located up your nether regions. The uber wealthy think they can build a just for them utopia supported by robots and AI, and they think they are on the verge of having that tech. They're not, but they think they are. Once they have that tech, we are surplus to (their) requirements and the faster we die off, the better. That's why they've co-opted the government to their own purposes. The purpose of government to the overlords of the corporatocracy is to protect the top 1% from the bottom 99%, preferably by cutting Medicare/aid, consumer protection, fraud waste and abuse inspectors, Social Security, education, and anything else that might help us to live longer, better lives. Like food inspection, say. And every single one of those government offices (and many more) has been severely cut if not outright destroyed, to the point where the job can't get done because they've fired most everybody who used to do the work. I haven't been able to get into my own SS account for years now, and my DEMOCRATIC representatives don't even bother to acknowledge my requests for help with that. I haven't been able to get through on a phone line since Dumbf took over and turned Felon loose with his "chainsaw". What an idiot. BOTH of them. The uber wealthy envision a world where 90% or more of the population has been (or will soon be) eliminated, leaving them with shock-collared and drugged minions to keep the rest of the slaves in line. I'm serious. These sorts of end of the world bunkers have been planned in detail - and built. They're the main characters, always, and the rest of us are just the dregs of humanity that have no right to live except as we serve. Can't or won't slave for the ubermensch? Toddle off and die then. Get real. All of these tech bros are much much dumber and far less competent than they think they are. Elon won't be fixing any of his tech. He doesn't even DESIGN any of the tech he's bought into. Tesla would be a far better product if he'd never stirred his incompetent fingers through it. They may very well succeed in manipulating the majority of us dregs into early graves, but then there won't be anyone left to keep the tech going. Welcome to Thunderdome.
