The banana taped to the wall is STILL better than anything AI generated because its social commentary in the form of art - sure physical effort and skill was not put into setting it up BUT skill and effort was put into the meaning behind it and the social commentary. Art takes different forms and its not always about the physical craft, its sometimes about the conversation behind it made by the artist.
AI directors are just angry because they want the money fame and recognition for a frqction of the effort.
Its entitlement.
