I love when ai bros bring up jobs that have been made obsolete in the name of efficiency. Art is an expression of emotion, passion, inspiration, storytelling; it's not just a task that needs to be completed, you ignorant houseplant.
Have robots make our burgers. No one studied years to cook at McDonald's. Automate stores and checkouts, they're genuine chores.
Drivers, cleaners, factory workers. Give these people living wages and access to higher education. Instead of robbing people of the joys of life, how about letting them do whatever they want.
Art is not a chore. It was never something that needed automation. Remove the human from the art, and all you have left is inbred robot images. You are the main antagonist in every film about a dystopian nightmare.
I'm not saying we could ever stop the continuation of ai. All I'm saying is that you need to get your head out of the sand and acknowledge how messed up this is.
