There's a reason I ALWAYS encourage people to draw when they say 'I wish I could draw' Because...you can. It took me TEN YEARs to get to a point in my art where I'm actually satisfied with my art but I've seen other artists do it in less and I think that's amazing. Anyone tryna say 'well I can't draw' is basically saying 'i tried to draw something and I didn't like how it looked so I gave up immediately' As if art is something you can master in one go. I'll NEVER gatekeep other people learning to draw, especially if their alternative is using AI lmao. Look at pewdiepie...he said the last time he properly drew was when he was a child, but he took time and energy to actually LEARN (from books/tutorials too) and he got a pretty good outcome for only practicing for a year. (but of course when those 2 videos came out you had the same people saying 'well you were born with that talent' or 'must be nice to have the time and money to do that') Excuses excuses... Saying an artist is born with that 'talent' is like saying an olympic swimmer was born with the ability to swim at record speeds...when they ALSO took the time to practice.
