They are tools. Both are. When cooking a microwave is a tool for melting or heating stuff. When drawing ai art can be used to brainstorm or get colour palettes, or references. But when you use a tool and dont do any work yourself you can’t say you are an expert at that thing. If you use a microwave to heat a pre made meal you can’t say you’re a chef. When you use an ai art generator you can’t say you’re an artist. Tools can be exploited, thats just how it works. But if you exploit tools you can never say you are talented
