This is stupid because art doesn’t have to be good to be art, Theresa a banana with a piece of tape on it in a museum somewhere. I honestly suck at art and my sister is like Michael Angelo or van Gogh when it comes to art or dance, and me im like the watered down version like 2% pop in a cup of ice so 98% water. I once drew three things that my sister immediately drew perfectly right after me, the grim reaper, a devil in a fiery scape, and Wednesday Addams. Artistic ability you can be born with just like you could be born with a better understanding of music or can be born with the ability to become a great soccer player. The thing is you have to nurture these abilities because even if you were born with an affinity to these activities you still have to build off that foundation, and it takes some people a long time and comes easier to others. Ai art is cool in some cases like if you’ve never been able to draw a horse, then yeah go for it ai that horse, but if you have the ability why water it down with that ai ice? You aren’t proving yourself not even showing that you could even try to do it yourself, that’s a crutch and not a good one. You refuse to even try to build up your ability and instead run to artificial intelligence to magically make you an art piece which is disrespectful to the people without art affinity without the godlike artistic skills that are still trying with whatever ability we have. Edit: if you can’t tell my affinity my birth talent is words. Although I’m still nurturing my talent, and my talent hasn’t come easy it still sucks to see people put a prompt into ai and have some long gibberish being written when I use my brain. I use my knowledge past and present my knowledge of what’s been done and over done to create a story or finish a prompt in a way that would hopefully bring angels to tears. I know it’s not perfect I know I could use some help with grammar and punctuation but this is my humane struggle with written word and I’d like to grow as an artist as a novelist, so I steer clear of ai writing and try to steer clear of ai art. Though it’s okay to use so long as you’ve at least tried yourself.
