Curious how people feel about those who use a photo to trace a base? Do we hate people who use light boxes? Are these artist as bad as AI prompters? Do you think an artists can use AI as a tool or a piece in a final creation?
I read recently there is an artist for years who did photoshopped posters for a decade, he did say he now uses AI to help aid in the process so his art can be a more accessible price wise, because it now can take him less time to produce a custom piece. He still adds "human" elements to the final poster that AI can not do, but AI is now used in the creation of his , what used to be fully photoshopped work.
While this booth was a straight hot mess and clearly broke a ton of rules, I feel there is a bigger conversation that is going to have to occur. Please note I am just genuinely curious to peoples thoughts on the matter considering how art has changed over the years.
