So... i guess I have an unpopular opinion here. Imagine if some big pharmaceutic company developed a pill that cure 99% of illness. Would you be against it? Would you want to regulate it? Hundreds of millions of people around the world live from the health care industry and all of them would lose their jobs. Would you be against it? Or you are only against it because it will affect your job and job to close people to you.
I personally think that this advancedments should not be regulated, yes, some people will stop having jobs, and if they don't adapt and do something else, then they should maybe lower their lifestyle.
I really think that the combination of a.i + robotics + clean energy will be a long positive in the long run and that may be the thing that we humans need in order to provide the basic needs everyone need. Of course i don't want people to lose their jobs, but thats just life.
My job (marketing) will totally be replaced by an a.i agent. But should I regulate other people inventions just because I will lose my job? I dont think so.
