I think the main issue behind all this anarchy is the fact that there are no laws on the internet, let alone copyright laws, much like how there are no global laws that affect the entire planet, even though the entire planet has access to the internet.
For this AI art fiasco to get resolved, we have to do something about there being no global laws or laws on the internet.
