“It’s the unknown that seduces you.” I have grave concerns on the runaway race for AGI/ Super Intelligence being managed by a few companies and political governments aren’t privy to or are slow to act. Their only goal is military super intelligence and leveraging private sector AI to achieve their goals. We’re months, not years, away from this outcome. Government taxation systems will need to be rewritten and I only assume they will be rewritten by AI systems. Meaning will become a new thing for humans and we must find a place of daily and eventually external satisfaction
