i think the difference between photography and gen ai is that photography relies on equipment, time, and quality to capture a frame moment of everyday lives, rare occasions, and maybe admiration for wildlife and nature, preserving those shots as a vivid memory, "creativity" doesn't often apply in this media, but i can certainly agree that "effort" is put here
meanwhile gen ai, as mentioned in the video, steals existing data, often without permission, and the said data includes photos that are showcased by professionals in the internet, which again, is theft, there's no "creativity" nor "effort" put into ai "art" bcuz the software does all the work instead of the "artist", and words carefully jumbled up to generate the masterpiece they "imagined" doesn't count as effort at all, bcuz the prompt they wrote isn't even a full proper sentence, it couldn't even exceed neither poetry nor literacy
so overall, gen ai is lazy and soulless while photography had more soul even with the digital media, i rest my case 😊
