Real art isn't only interesting because it looks good. It's also interesting because it was made with a purpose. Because every brush stroke, pencil marking and choice of color has a reason that tells us about what kind of person the artist is. It is interesting because it is made of hundreds and hundreds of choices.
But AI generated images have none of those choices. Every line is just placed where it is "because that's probably where a real artist would put it".
